Project Coordinator

Positions open in Dallas and Chicago Offices


The Project Coordinator assists with project creation including programming, visioning design development, and selections of materials throughout the life of the project.      

The Project Coordinator acts as a resource to the leadership and design staff in assisting the design direction and coordinates schedules and delegate design development activities. The Project Coordinator is constantly learning the vocabulary, methods, and deliverables between B2 Architecture + Design and other consultants involved in the project design.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with project coordination through Revit, Photoshop, Enscape, and Microsoft Suite

• Assist with presentation creation

• Research and order materials working with architectural reps and other outside office resources

• Assist project lead in the accomplishment of assigned tasks

• Coordinate construction document preparation with supervision as required

• Promote adherence to office drawing standards and procedures

• Must possess the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time

• Must maintain a good, professional relationship with the interior team, clients, and consultants

• Contribute to the financial success of the project by communicating with the Owner and coordinating staffing efforts to meet budgets and deadlines as outlined in the Contract

• Evaluating selected materials and finishes and coordinating with vendors and consultants

• Construction Administration: Attend Team Meetings/conference calls according to our Contract, review, and process & record RFIs / Submittals, and coordinate responses with their team

• Coaching and mentoring experience essential

COMPENSATION:

Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.

LOCATION:

B2 office in Dallas, Texas or Chicago, Illinois

REQUIREMENTS:

• Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Degree from an Accredited School

• Software: Revit, Microsoft Suite, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Enscape

• Active professional social media involvement including Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.

• 3+ years of interior architectural experience preferably in Hospitality, Multifamily, Student Housing, or Senior Living

• Outgoing, positive, interested in learning, as well as contribute new ideas

• Strong team player

• Consistent, dependable, and conscientious

• Travel may be required

• Self-motivated; takes individual initiative

• Pushes for excellence

• Reliable and accurate, exacting, detail-conscious

• Devoted to client service

• Effective in time management

• Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

• Must be ok with office dog(s)
